Where a visa is required to enter Uganda, it can be obtained at the airport on arrival or through respective Uganda embassies/consulates abroad. A single entry visa fee is $50 and valid for 3 months from the date of issue. With effect from June 2011, travelers to Uganda must possess a passport with validity beyond one year.
Visitors are advised not to overstay their visa validity otherwise will be subject to a fine of $30 per day including appropriate legal action.
